Fantastic place to stay in Sighisoara

Bogdan is a fantastic host who runs a really great place to stay in Sighisoara. He was very kind in picking us up on and we were given lots of info about where to go and here to eat to make the most of our stay. The property is located a couple of minutes' walk from some shops and the stairs to the old town in a very quiet residential neighbourhood, guaranteeing a good nights's sleep. There is a fantastic view of the old city that can be enjoyed from the upper teraces in the garden at the back. The appartment we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommend the trip that Bogdan helped us to organise to Biertan and Malancrav to see the beautiful churches there and the wonderful Transylvanian countryside. Would definitely like to return one day!

Just what was needed

A perfect spot to stay when visiting Sighișoara. Great welcome by the host topped with a shot of țuică. Large comfortable rooms with good sized bathrooms. Shower pressure and temperature fine. Large comfortable bed. Perfectly positioned a short walk from the centre.
A light breakfast provided with coffee and a chat with our host set us up for the day ahead.

One of the best accommodation

We had a warm welcome and spending time there was great.
The owner is a very nice person, he is polite, he gave us trip advices, where to eat and it is a pleasure to chat with him.
The house looks like a mini hunting museum, with a very nice and big garden and close to the citadel.
The rooms are big and clean, with access to kitchen and garden where you can find everything you need. You feel like at home.
Definitely we will return here.

This place is a piece of heaven!

I can not describe in words how wonderful this place is! You must come and see it on your own. You will find perfectly cleaned rooms and bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful terrace and a most polite host! This place has an unforgettable special beauty which you will always remember with your heart.

Everything was perfect !!!

We arrived at 'Casa Vanatorului' on Friday for a weekend getaway. We received a warm and prompt welcome from our host. He gave us a quick and informing tour about the guest house and all the facilities that are at our disposal. Then he showed us (my boyfriend and I ) to our room. Both of us agreed that the room was simply fabulous, exceeded both of our expectations. Everything was very clean, well taken care off, and we both loved the level of detail that was put in providing us with all the necessities we could possibly require during the stay. We were both very excited about the room and strongly recommend the hotel !!!
