Economic accommodation at its best
Affordable accommodation near the most. This is a hostel with perfect amenities and very nice service. I'd love to come back here. So if you don’t mind sharing a shower and a toilet with other guests, it’s easy to enjoy it here.

I will not be returning
A pleasant place to stay until I got home and saw that NOK 150 had been charged to my account. I contacted them to ask why, and was told that I had not removed the bed linens from the bed.
I replied that I was not aware this was required and that I had not received any information about it.
What followed was a very frustrating back-and-forth email exchange. After many emails, I was told they have a surveillance camera which, according to them, shows that I received this information. However, I was never shown any visual proof.
I do not wish to quote their final email, as it contained serious accusations against me.
From my perspective, this feels like a questionable business practice. I also did not receive any email or receipt for the charge, so it was fortunate that I noticed it myself on my bank account.
For this reason, I will not be returning to this accommodation.

Quite a walk from the station, so if you have luggage you might want to consider that. Otherwise good place to stay for 1 night

A Magical Experience All Around
The manager/priest Trond was extremely attentive. He was inspired by the albergues in El Camino de Santiago pilgrimage and wished to create something like that is Narvik. Well, he succeeded completely. I have done El Camino myself and I can attest that the vibe here is just as magical. A real refuge to travelers. The breakfast had great variety from amazing waffles to toasts, boiled eggs, pastries, yogurts, etc. The coffee brand they use is really nice. The location is right in the center of town and all the staff were absolutely lovely. Linken mountain is a fantastic hike. I will remember this trip for the rest of my life. Met some wonderful people and Narvik is a great place from which to visit many other places. You can take a bus or train and be in Sweden’s National Park of Abisko in just one and a half hours! You can travel to Lofoten, etc. This is a magical area of northern Norway!
