Te Anau is a small town in South Island of NZ, known as the gateway to the Fiordland National Park. There was glowworms caves close by here but the tour to Milford Sound only stopped one hour here.
Lots of nice things to do in Te Anau. Fishing from a Jet Boat with the lovely people from FishJet. Catching a cruise boat across Lake Te Anau to see Glow Worm caves. Doing a day walk down the Waiau River on the Kepler Track. Enjoying a seafood pie from the local pie shop. Fly fishing along the Eglinton and Whitestone Rivers.
A cute town that is the gateway to the Milford Sound. It's worth stop and stay
This is a charming little town with access to Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound. Lake Te Anau is beautiful in its own right.
