Quiet hotel despite the highway!!!

This water lodge hotel on the outskirts of the Amsterdam diction highway, despite appearances and apprehensions upon arrival, the place is quiet but the rooms are not soundproofed at all. All are on site, you can refuel, dine, sleep and have breakfast.

Great nice visit

Wow what has this place grown in quality since the beginning super nice eaten delicious coffee really friendly service all top to see that they have developed so well definitely come back here the super nice shop is really recommended

Fantastic service

We stayed for 2 nights after our car broke down nearby. Giaanna could not have been more helpful. She really went beyond the call of duty to support us. At one stage it looked as if we would have to sleep in our car but she came to our rescue. Lovely room overlooking the water. All staff were friendly. We had a good breakfast and evening meal. A lovely walk through the countryside. You wouldn’t have thought you were on the A6.

Relaxing and peaceful stay despite proximity to highway

Despite being beside the highway, our room was quiet and had a beautiful tranquil outlook over a small lake. Worth paying the extra for the room with balcony. A very unexpected bonus for us was seeing two beavers swimming the other side of the lake just after sunset. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant had good food and the breakfast was excellent.

Gem of a find!

We stayed in the cabin here last month and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rene was very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay and even took us to the station early on the morning that we left. It is roughly a 10 minute bike ride from the centre and the tram stop is literally a minutes walk away. The cabin itself is very cozy and unique! I would say that if you are tall or bigger built it may not suit you very well as the toilet and shower spaces are small. My husband is 6ft4 and had to keep his head lowered in the cabin so he didn't hit it on the beams! The cabin is right next to a bridge, however we didn't find it to be noisy. The room has a.c., coffee/tea, hairdryer, towels and body wash. Being able to sit out right by the canal was lovely and the breakfast was an added bonus too!
