Delightful experience

Modern Palace Emma Staete is a small boutique hotel that used to be a B&B, housed in a roomy villa in the upscale Wilhelmina Park neighbourhood. It was a great pleasure to be the guests of its proprietors, Marianne and Ren, fine conversationalists who show an interest in their guests. Three nights running they made meal reservations for us. The room was ample in size, clean and quiet, the bed was firm, the amenities in place. The price is very reasonable. A special bonus from my point of view: the hotel is diagonally across from the house in which I was born. Strongly recommended!

Wonderful stay

The host was incredibly welcoming and very helpful with great restaurant recommendations for the local area! The room was very homely and the bed super comfortable. Zero complaints and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Baarn.

Home away from home

Greeted with cheese ans wijn my long journey came to a gentle end when I arrived at Modern Palace Emma State. The host and hostess took care of me for 4 days, making me breakfast, joining me on long walks and showing me the special farms and palaces nearby. They lent me a smooth bicycle and introduced me to the unique restaurants and shops, including two exclusive vintage shops!
Breakfast was made to order, absolutely delicious eggs, fresh bread,fruit, cereal, fresh squeezed orange juice and frothy rich cappuccino. I will definately return!

Feestelijk weekend

We worden naar de feest-lokatie gebracht door de eigenaar. Een bijzondere service! Het ontbijt was uitstekend en de hoeveelheid was ruim voldoende. De gast-vrouw en -heer zijn heel vriendelijk. In de omgeving kun je een boswandeling maken. Al met al: Het is een aanrader.

Top!!!

Rens en Marianne stonden direct voor ons paraat. Een wijntje, heerlijk broodje met kaas, instructies over de faciliteiten in en rond de kamer, coronamaatregelen en wat is er zo allemaal in de omgeving. Vanaf het begin gastvrij ontvangen en zeer behulpzaam. We konden nog even lekker buiten zitten in de tuin.
Wij sliepen op de zolderkamer. Een fantastisch ruime kamer met uitzicht op groen en bomen. Heel rustgevend.
Het bed was heerlijk, kamer super schoon en prachtige badkamer. Heel compleet ingericht en aan alles is gedacht.
‘s Morgens op de afgesproken tijd kregen we ons ontbijt op de kamer. We begonnen met een heerlijk yoghurtje met fruit. Daarnaast stond er jus d’ orange, koffie, thee, beleg (zowel zoet als hartig), een eitje, croissantjes en warme broodjes klaar. Overal was aan gedacht en niets was te veel.
Wat een heerlijke B&B. Hier gaan we nog wel een keertje terugkeren.
Kleine tip: jullie website is lastig te vinden en dat is jammer want de accommodatie verdient het om gevonden te worden!!
