Accommodating and friendly hotel staff; clean and service-oriented hotel

We just had an awesome stay in the hotel. The place is relaxing and convenient.
I could offer it to those who are thinking of their budgets and want to have a good place to stay.... Mila Noa Hotel is the right place for you!
The General Hotel Manager is very accommodating and she can communicate well in English that makes our conversation clear as I am processing my requests for accommodation.

Needs improvement

The staff service is really great. The front desk girls were really helpful, housekeeping, bellboy and restaurant helpers were very nice.
I like this hotel generally - location is good, overall design is bright and clean, comfy bed.
It's also relatively new - i have seen worse hotels of similar price range in Yangon.
However Mila Noa certainly needs to look into maintenance to maintain its good condition. Can see some parts of the rooms are already not in super good condition. My toilet is constantly leaking from the ceiling - gonna complain again tomorrow. And there was a dead cockroach when i checked in, and a LIVE cockroach in the bathroom in the middle of the night!!!! freaked me out!
The rooftop restaurant is not very well maintained too. And they don't have coffee for breakfast this morning! thats near criminal!
I still like it here - hoping the hotel will look into better maintenance, so that i can still come back and stay here during my next trip.

The location is fantastic

I highly recommend this hotel for a day or two in Yangon. Our taxi driver had no idea how to get to this hotel - I pulled up my offline map app and we used that to get there. This hotel is off the mainstreet literally in a residential neighborhood. There is lots of street food and shops nearby that are fun to walk around and make you feel like you're one of the locals. Our room was comfortable and clean.
The roof top breakfast restaurant was fantastic. Of course the food was very ordinary, but the birds eye view of the neighborhood and a beautiful sunrise almost directly behind the Schewagon (?) pagoda made it very memorable.
My only complaint is that the wi-fi was nonexistent. A primary reason for this is that the neighborhood kids know the hotel password and and sit outside the entrance on their cellphones all night. =)

Basic hotel in a good position

The hotel was a little shabby so if you like clean luxury, best avoided. It's located in a very 'local' area which we wanted but again, if you are looking for comfort and an attractive location, perhaps not for you. Well placed for some of the city's landmarks. Breakfast is simple and the 'restaurant' pretty scruffy so don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. Room was a bit smelly but cleaned each day with clean bedding and towels.

Clean, friendly and convenient

I loved the fact I could walk to Shwedagon Pagoda and that there was a nice park ( People’s Park also has a section called Lover’s Park - super romantic and away from the hustle and bussle) and a supermarket next door. Also really convenient to get to and from the airport without hitting the City traffic. Super quiet at night. Yes it’s a bit dirty around but it’s just not in one of the posh suburbs, it’s Yangon, the real Yangon, that’s how people live. And the hotel is super clean inside. It’s also very safe and friendly- I enjoyed seeing the real life around and monks in the morning walking along the street. The terrace was top to watch the sunrise as you just emerged from bed. Loved it.
