Terrible experience
Today, I had a very disappointing experience at the Escale Hotel. With a friend, we had settled upstairs to calmly discuss over coffee and review a document. As the place was very dark, we requested that a light be turned on, which was done courteously by a server. A few minutes later, another server came to turn it off and asked us to change tables, without a clear justification. When we asked for explanations, he simply replied that he was following the instructions of another person. We found this behavior disrespectful and unprofessional. A regrettable experience that greatly tarnished our visit.

OK Hotel for short stay
The Hotel is conveniently located and within walking distance to the Medina. The rooms were noisy as we could hear the noise of the traffic even late in the night. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom (Shower) needed some maintenance and we had water over the floor although it was covered, which could only be because of some poor drainage issues.
The buffet dinner was just OK and lacked any local cuisine Items. There was not much of variety and flavour to the food. Breakfast was a buffet and was just OK.
Overall our stay was comfortable but not great.

3 Star Hotel with Poor Food and Service
Hotel is in a convenient location and IMHO is a 3 star at best. The room was a good size but the bed and pillows were rock hard ( and I always buy firm mattresses ).
The dining room was quite nice with a great view , however the buffet food was blase and under replenished. One of the attendants was handling food with bandages on his fingers and actually asked us to leave after 45 minutes saying they were needing the table . There were at least 4 - 5 free tables setup and several more available if they cleared dishes and reset.
I would NOT RECOMMEND this facility for dining .

Horrible.
Horrible. Non-smoking room reserved but placed on top of a terrace - as if there were 10 smokers in the room. We had to open the window all night impossible to sleep with cold and noise

Catastrophic Hotel
Catastrophic hotel. The room is bad all over the line: noise that prevents sleeping, cigarette smell and bed not comfortable. The staff at the rehearsal is incompetent. Breakfast is probably the worst I have seen in a hotel. It is terrible. The only positive was the couscous on Friday at lunchtime. I will never set foot in it again and you should do the same. It’s just horrible.
