The perfect place to stay in Shella

Morocco house offers you great value for money. It's simple but clean with local staff who knows all that is worth knowing while you are on holiday in Lamu. They are always willing to help and 100% trustable. The 360 degrees view is breathtaking and one of the best you can find in Shella. Since it's not seafront you pay less, but the short walk to the beach tells you that you're a guest in a Swahili culture dating back thousands of years and you're not only on a beach holiday that could be anywhere in the world. You are going to love it!

Simply perfect

Shella is bursting with wonderful houses and luxury accommodation, nearly all of which is located either in the village or on the sea front. From Morocco house you can take the most wonderful walk through the village and onto the beach or like us you might find that you simply don't leave the house!
From sunrise to sunset Marocco house is blessed with the most breathtaking views, the rooms are perfectly comfortable and the chefs (Ali and Kasena) will serve you up the most delicious food.
After a 6 week stay we all left with tears in our eyes including our young children who had the most incredible time.

Beautiful views, wonderful staff

Morocco House is a lovely place to stay on the beautiful island of Lamu. It's at the back-end of Shela village so you walk through the village to access it, which is great as you see more village life as you might otherwise if you chose to stay on the sea-front. Still, it's only a five minute walk to the water, and ten minutes to the stunning beach.
The views from the roof-top (covered) of Morocco House are stunning, as you get a 360 degree view of the village, the sea and the sand dunes behind. Sunrise and sunset are beautiful. We ate at the top here.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, and Morocco and Ali are very friendly and eager to help with any problems.
We found our stay to be very safe, quiet, personal and friendly.
I'll definitely be back!

wie im Paradies...

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Shela-Paradies...
wunderschönes Guesthouse mit mit super Dachtrerasse und tollem Ausblick über Shela und das Meer. Zentral im Ort gelegen, Strand in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
Die Zimmern sind auch echt schön und total geräumig und alles sehr sauber. Service war auch super.
Alles in allem waren wir total zufrieden und werden sicher wiederkommen!!
