Popular Inns in Ashihara Onsen
It was a two-room room with an open-air bath, used in the Hokuriku reconstruction support project. I was able to relax instead of feeling old while retaining the nostalgic scent of the Showa era such as a ping pong table and a game corner. The large public bath lined with megaliths also has a taste. Massage machines are also available for free. We enjoyed the taste of the Sea of Japan such as boat serving and abalone dancing.

Second time here simply because of the family room, but won't come again. Staff make you feel like a stranger.
We stayed here 5 years ago because it had a family room with karaoke, ping-pong, Nintendo, massage chair, etc and the room could sleep 8 people.
The food was OK, not great and the service was not overly friendly, but it was a good way for 8 people to enjoy the hot spas and some evening entertainment together.
We went back this year because we'd heard a few things had changed and we wanted the large room again.
The service simply made you feel like you're a hassle rather than a patron; e.g. I'm a large person with big feet, so finding a large pair of scuffs is impossible, yet they don't want you walking barefoot or wearing outdoor thongs. I simply wore their wrath while walking around barefoot.
The food was much better, but the standout again was certainly the room, although with the same number of people, we were made to get a second room to sleep the same 8 people.
The hot springs themselves are tiny compared to other Ryokans in the area, especially considering the number of accommodation rooms in the establishment. We had to queue to wash before entering the hot spa.
I would not recommend this Royokan if you can book far enough ahead to find something else, or you don't need to accommodate a large family group who wants the separate games room attached.
A pity because they could do so much more in the location they have at their disposal.

急きょ思い立って芦原温泉へ
リーズナブルな旅館を見つけ当日宿泊で予約しました。
部屋はリフォームされモダンできれいでした。
食事は朝夕部屋食でとても美味しく、ゆっくり過ごすことが出来ました。

部屋食が嬉しい
朝夕部屋食はなかなかないので小さい子ども連れにはかなり助かります。家族風呂が50分3800円くらいかかりますがかなり広いので、とても満足でした。
値段はリーズナブルでサービスはそれ相応な感じです。悪くはないです。
猛暑でエアコンなしでは暑くて、つけると弱くしても寒くなってしまい部屋の温度調節がかなり難易度高かったです。

カニかにプランで大満足!
Go to travelの利用期間外でしたが、それでもお得!!!と感じられるほど良かったです!!
特に夕食のカニかにプランが、合計で3杯ほど蟹がふんだんに使われていて、蟹でお腹が一杯になるという経験を初めてしました(笑) 朝食も美味しかったですし、とにかく食事のクオリティが高かったです! お部屋食でしたが不便なことも無く、ゆったり食べることができました
また、貸切風呂を利用したのですが、想像以上に広く、大きな石が並んでいて室内なのに開放的で素晴らしかったです!
お部屋も綺麗で、2人で約16畳ほどの広さがあったので、広々と寛ぐことができました!
帰りには、中居さんが寒い中外で手を振って見送って下さり、最後まで良い気持ちで利用することが出来ました!
是非リピートしたいです!
