Beautiful historic villa, but an unpleasant ending

Truly evocative location, immersed in greenery and away from the chaos, able to preserve the original neoclassical charm intact. Entering the villa is like taking a leap into the past, although unfortunately only a few original furnishings remain.
The location is strategic for visiting this beautiful area of the Marche: just a few minutes from Fabriano and convenient for reaching the most beautiful villages and main attractions, including the Frasassi Caves. Practical street parking adjacent to the property.
I stayed in a room inside the villa: spacious, elegant, and equipped with all essential comforts, featuring beautiful original frescoes on the ceiling and soft lighting that greatly enhances the atmosphere. TV, minibar, safe, and very spacious wardrobes are available. I also appreciated the option to choose from different types of pillows. I would have appreciated a kettle in the room for tea or herbal teas.
General cleanliness was good, although some details could be better attended to, such as dust in the curtains and in some drawers. The mattress, however, did not seem particularly comfortable: a bit too firm and slightly yielding on the sides.
The wellness path in the garden is very pleasant, ideal for relaxing, as is the outdoor pool available in the nice season.
A special thanks goes to all the staff, always friendly, available, and attentive to the needs of the guests, both at reception and during breakfast and in the restaurant.
It is a pity only for the rudeness of the owner at check-out, who spoke to my wife in a rude manner, partially ruining an experience that had been very positive until that moment.

A dream

A dream come true, 10 out of 10 welcome, attention to requests and even more. Duchess room, what can I say, magical, elegant, comfortable bed, and quiet. Pool, a corner of paradise like the fantastic restaurant. I can't wait to return even though I just got back, a special round of applause to all the staff!

An 18th-century villa... a piece of history... made famous by Alberto Sordi
A wonderful, well-restored villa... the epic rooms have their charm... but the inn also offers excellent and beautiful rooms
The pool area is very beautiful... well-maintained
And don't miss the pleasure of dining at the Marchese del Grillo restaurant... high-level cuisine and excellent service
Thanks to the entire staff for this pleasant and unexpected weekend

Fantastic
A true palace perched on the hill: magnificent view
A superb room with the ceiling and walls fully decorated
A welcome of great kindness! Restaurant closed at noon but we were treated to a princely service for a light lunch
A grand swimming pool
An original dinner served with a smile! Thank you to the young lady, the head waitress
And an absolutely delicious breakfast! Fresh orange juice, sublime pastries.. Exceptional welcome
We are returning in September for a simple stopover.

A beautiful experience.

We ended up in this beautiful historic residence more by chance than by choice. We want to compliment the family that runs the hotel and all their staff, who are kind, helpful, and attentive.
We stayed in the Marquis suite, a wonderful room with a lovely four-poster bed. The entire property is very beautiful and well-maintained, including the exteriors.
The pool is beautiful, an absolute place for relaxation. Also contributing (though perhaps we were lucky in this) is a certain type of guests.
Finally, a shout-out to the restaurant, where we ate very well and tasted an excellent wine (a Montepulciano reserve) produced by the owners.
We hope to return in September.
