Beautiful hotel in Brunico
The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms with a nice terrace with a mountain view.
We liked the attention and friendliness toward the customer. For example, we were asked if we would like to have the sheets "Italian style" without us having asked.
Breakfast and dinner were good and in the right amounts.

Wonderful family stay
We enjoyed our stay as a family very much and were extremely satisfied in all areas. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered enough space, so we felt at home immediately.
The breakfast was excellent: a wide selection, fresh products, and something for every taste. We were also thrilled with the dinner – the dishes were very delicious and of high quality.
We would especially like to highlight the excellent service and the friendliness of the entire team. All staff members were attentive, helpful, and always warm, which made our stay particularly pleasant.
We can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel as a family and would be very happy to return. Thank you very much for the wonderful time!

A wonderful stay with friends at Hotel Gissbach. The entire staff was super attentive and warm. The
Our stay at the Gissbach Hotel was simply fantastic. I was out with friends, and right on the first day, Giovanna welcomed us incredibly warmly. She was always friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our entire stay – exactly the kind of person who makes a vacation instantly more relaxing.
The entire staff was consistently accommodating, professional, and very warm-hearted. Especially during dinner, it was evident how much effort everyone put in to ensure we felt comfortable. We looked forward to it every evening.
The hotel is cozy, very clean, and beautifully located – perfect for spending a few relaxing days in South Tyrol.

Vacation
We stayed at the Gissbach Hotel for 2 nights with a bed and breakfast arrangement. Unfortunately, our experience was negative for several reasons.
First of all, the room was not as clean as we would have expected: there was a lot of dust on various surfaces, an aspect that left us disappointed from the moment we arrived.
Regarding the staff (see those working at the bar), we perceived a lack of friendliness and a somewhat unprofessional attitude towards the guests.
The most unpleasant incident, however, occurred during breakfast. Before leaving for an excursion, we were preparing some sandwiches using the bread and food from the buffet. At that moment, the owner intervened in a rude manner, telling us that it was not allowed to take food from the breakfast room and that she would charge us for the sandwiches. The cost was not communicated to us at that moment: we only discovered it the day after check-out, when we were charged 4 euros for each sandwich.
In the breakfast area, there was no sign indicating the prohibition of taking food from the buffet. When we asked for explanations at the time of payment, we were told that the sign was there, but it had only been displayed that very morning and not in the previous days.
Beyond the rule itself, which we would have respected if it had been clearly communicated from the beginning, what bothered us was the way the situation was handled and the lack of attention towards the customer.
Moreover, we felt extremely uncomfortable during breakfast the following day, with fixed stares at what we were putting on our plates and rude behavior from both the owner and the waitress.
Overall, between the cleanliness of the room, the incidents at the bar, and the handling of the sandwich situation, our experience did not meet our expectations, and we absolutely do not feel comfortable recommending this establishment.

Fin dal Suo arrivo è stata accolta cordialmente e durante tutto il soggiorno ogni informazione relativa ai servizi dell’hotel è stata fornita con rispetto e disponibilità. Anche in occasione del chiarimento riguardante i panini preparati al buffet della colazione, il nostro intervento è avvenuto sempre in modo cortese e professionale.
Ci rammarica che il soggiorno non abbia soddisfatto le Sue aspettative, nonostante la disponibilità dimostrata dal nostro staff durante tutta la permanenza e anche gli sforzi fatti per venire incontro alle Sue esigenze.
Le auguriamo sinceramente di trovare in futuro una struttura che corrisponda maggiormente alle Sue aspettative e necessità, magari una che possa offrirLe servizi come lunch box, pane e bevande da asporto inclusi nel soggiorno.

Great, highly recommended
Great service.
Fabulous and plentiful dinners. They were so cute they baked a cake for my boyfriend after they found out it was his birthday. Very nice staff, competent and attentive to the customer. Great location, spotless rooms and beautiful atmosphere. Stra recommended. We'll be back.
