The owners are amazing!!!
I had an amazing experience at these apartments, especially thanks to the owners, the mother and the father, who are the most positive and welcoming people that I’ve ever met, the lady was incredibly kind. The rooms are clean and cozy, make u feel right at home. I definitely recommend staying here.

Very disappointed with there Service & NO compassion.
We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights, check in 28th March to 1st April 2026,we were flying in from Australia, we found out last week that Emirates have cancelled all flights out of Australia going to Athenas. As this situation is totally out of our control, we were hope Johns Rooms & Studios would refund or booking, Not a chance was there reply not even 50% of what we paid, no compassion that the situation is totally out of our control. If someone is out there and have these dates available i would love to offer these rooms to you FREE of charge as i have already paid for them. Very disappointed with there Service & compassion.

Worst experience ever while traveling. Avoid at all costs.
The WORST place we have ever stayed, and we have travelled to Europe more than 5 times. This place is absolutely horrible. After looking at inaccurate photos, we reserved for three nights and left our visa as deposit. Five minutes after checking in we called the hosts back and said we will no longer be staying 3 nights. We will stay and pay for that one night only and check out in the morning. The next morning as we are packing up the owner hands us a receipt after they charged our card $400 euros for 3 nights. The room was FILTHY. All of the surfaces had brown and yellow stains and dust/dirt. The pillows, sheets, blanket and towels all had hairs and stains, blood and literal chunks of dirt on them. When we called for new ones, they said ok and nothing came. The shower was dirty, beyond small and the shower head was broken and had nowhere to hang so water sprayed all over the tiny bathroom. The sink was all dirty. The whole room was so small you could not shower and barely walk around the bed. The bed was also broken, full of springs and sunken in the middle. Woke up with a rash and a massive bill we did not consent to as we are packing up to leave and gave notice 5 minutes after check in that we are NOT staying and to only bill one night. They then had the audacity to demand the key and re-list our room on other booking sites for the nights they charged us for!! I've never been treated so rudely and been so overcharged for a disgusting room in my 30 years of yearly traveling. We are disputing with the CC company as this is theft. They used false advertisements and charged us for a service we did not use or consent too, and then re-booked the room. The owners are liars, so rude, dishonest and pretend they do not speak English but they speak clear English when it's convenient. When I refused the bill and was in the hallway bringing my luggage out they literally threw me out because "I was speaking too loud and people are sleeping" at 10am. Which is check-out time. We ended up getting a way nicer hotel for much cheaper. Albeit being charged for 3 nights we did not use here. Avoid this place at all costs.

Go back, avoid
A bit difficult to communicate with the owners even if they allowed us to kindly leave our luggage before check in time. Outside the common area is nice but in the room unfortunately the situation becomes less beautiful. We thought we would find a double bed and we found two single beds side by side. On the pillowcases and sheets c were yellowish halos and in general the cleanliness was really poor. On the sheets there was also hair, obviously not ours; while we did not even find soaps in the shower. Kitchen present but unusable... Fortunately it was our support only for one night.

Perfect, super recommended, super john
John's room is a property that works very well, not only because it is in a great location, as it is centrally located near the port and a few minutes from everything, but also because the rooms are nice and clean, our room had a very nice and comfortable balcony The property includes common areas with tables, chairs and sun loungers that gave us a moment of relaxation every night. Owner is super helpful, is available for transfers at all hours and is a really good person, very kind. Recommendation to everyone to book at this property. I'm very happy to have been here. THANK YOU JOHN!!
