"Peaceful retreat"
On my way to the hotel from the airport and on leaving Molyvos heading out on the coast road I began to wonder if I had made the right choice! Driving past some super looking places we came almost to the end of the road and the hotel is on the right set back but right in front of the sea, immediately the tranquility of the place hit me, its a charming hotel showing signs of age but this should not deter anyone from staying. Ample car parking spaces, massive sea water pool which is fabulous. Large open reception areas rarely used. The rooms were of a good size, very clean and amazingly comfortable beds, really nice bathrooms and shower. The staff during my three week stay were so friendly and could not do enough for you. The beach is right in front of the hotel but a short walk brings you to a long section of stoney coves, very quiet and amazing for swimming & snorkeling. Two tavernas very close to the hotel, the nearest one is superb about 50m away, the other one is on the hillside on the beach with great views. The hotel rarely got busy and often I was on my own at the pool. You can walk into Molyvos, it takes about 40 minutes buts its a superb walk, good bus service from just outside the taverna running into Molyvos then Petra and finally into Anaxos, plenty of taxis available. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely unspoilt hotel, the location and above all the peace and quiet.

Quiet family run hotel steps away from beach
I chose to stay at Molivos II while attending a local yoga course in Eftalou. The hotel is dated but this is what I liked most; quaint clean rooms with the basics (air condition, hair dryer, towels, linens, daily cleaning), large airy public spaces and spacious rooms with balconies. The daily buffet breakfast included in the room price was plentiful consisting of local cheeses, fruits and vegetables, home made cheese pita pie, meats, cereals, yogurt, eggs and much more. Most of all the open arm hospitality of the staff was the highlight who were always asking how to accommodate your needs and were always available. Peppi, both Tony's, Maria and others all made me feel like the hotel was my home. Of course, the beach is literally steps from the hotel as is the hot springs, 2 restaurants and Eftalou Yoga. A local bus has daily timetables which is limited to day times but hiring a taxi is very easy and economical. It cost 6-7 euro one way from Eftalou to Molivos. It is also a nice 40 minute walk with beautiful scenery enoute to Molivos. If am in this area will stay at Molivos II again !!

Very good budge hotel
I really like this hotel. And even more because of it reasonable rates. The room I was in was very spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the lemon trees of the gardens and towards the swimming pool. The bathroom was large and shower very good. The room itself was clean and had lots of facilities including fridge, microwave and cooking rings. Breakfast in the morning was whilst limited sufficient. Only grudge that I had to pay additional for the Greek coffee! Hotel staff are professional and polite. Hotel is located opposite a lovely beach which gave me the opportunity to escape to utter peace.
Would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Large hotel by the sea
Family friendly hotel by the sea with a large swimming pool. Big rooms and frindly staff. There is a very good restaurant and a hot spa nearby. Very clean sea but stony. If you like sand you need to drive to petra which is the closest.

Away from everything
The hotel is on a beach after a few kilometers from Molyvos. You have to cross the road to access the beach which is covered with sea weeds. The hotel does not offer any amenities on the beach. The hotel is clean, but old. There was not a bite to eat when we arrived at noon and there is nothing in walking distance. Breakfast is served in the morning. The staff was frendly and helpful.
