This family-run hotel is situated in the town of Siek amongst natural surrounding and not even 35 kilometres from Hamburg, offering a relaxing stay as well as proximity to culture.

Finest food around
An absolute must!! When you arrive in this lovely old school you just melt... The atmosphere is just wonderful . Beautifully decorated tables invite one to take a seat. Service very friendly and open sometimes the traditional "Landhaus" clothes are worn. Let's get on with the food. Why travel all the way to Hamburg when you have a first class restaurant here in the countryside with very reasonable prices. Food excellent ! We always take the menus and mix them around a bit from the fish menu a bit from the meat. Wine wonderful tip from me ... An unwooded Chardonnay from South Africa !!

Disappointing evening
We've been going to the restaurant here for years, always great, but last night was just disappointing, dessert didn't come, staff overwhelmed. So we had a stressful evening instead of the planned beautiful end of the week, we were very disappointed

Uncomplicated, hospitable, delicious - gladly again
The registered early arrival went wonderfully, we could go straight to the comfort room.
Very spacious, purist cozy, large bathroom. Ample storage space in the closet, everything very clean!
A slate with school bag, take2, apples and 1 bottle of water - very nice attentions!
The owners family very friendly and attentive, as was the lady for everything, Franziska. Warm, eloquent, can't do, can't do.
On Sunday we were 3 breakfast guests, very lovingly everything we wished for was prepared , served and served at the table.
The breakfast buffet with very delicious salmon, wholemeal bread and rolls, good selection of fruits, juice, coffee, tea etc. I was impressed by the beef liver sausage - something completely different and super delicious.
We visited the restaurant on Friday evening. There is no such thing here in Sauerland! We don’t do this often either and every euro was worth it.
Great service, interesting menus and great steaks! Yes, it is a lot of money, a beef fillet with 4 side dishes for € 55. If you count ambience, service, preparation, quality - that's all right.
Ingenious of the SNOWBALL Black Forest Cherry - mmmhhh, that's what I'll dream of.

Hotel small and ok
Hotel in a building from 1911. Around 10 rooms with minimalist furnishings, no fridge. Rooms are big enough with wooden floors, bathroom well lit and equipped. Breakfast was OK for €17. Restaurant/menu looked interesting, but was not visited due to the prices for steaks etc.

Charming and welcoming
This little family owned hotel greets you with a lot of charm. Located outside of Hamburg on the countryside, you most likely will need a car. The staff is just lovely and you feel immediately welcome. Room and bathroom was quite spacious. The bed was comfortable and as the surroundings are very quiet I slept very well. All necessary amenities are there. Only the towels to shower are tiny and you have only one in a single room. Breakfast had a surprisingly big variety and I enjoyed it a lot.
