Great cozy hotel with great restaurant and friendly staff

We visited our family and stayed at the Andechser Hof. The rooms are cozy and spacious. The entire staff was mega friendly. Dinner is a dream. We had the veal cutlet with fried potatoes..... super tender and delicious. The restaurant is very cozy and a great atmosphere.
The new spa area we also used , small but fine........, really enjoyed it...... the hotel manager also showed me his seminar rooms, that I might hold a seminar here .... thanks again for the nice stay...

Passable for short stay

Located directly opposite the small train station and about 500 meters from the lake. Absolute peace guaranteed. Room renovated, quite tasteful, simply furnished, over a plastic shower curtain you have to look over. Breakfast ok, lunch/dinner in the restaurant definitely not recommended. Some parking spaces available. Basically no hotel atmosphere, recommended for 1-2 nights if you don't value Mood.

Greatly improved decor

I stayed here last year when I felt the decor was a bit tired. Since there has been a huge refurbishment gone on. The last bits are happening: the wooden stairs were being sanded and revarnished. The rooms have a contemporary feel with wood floors, wood and rattan furniture, up to date bathrooms and comfortable beds. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet is not the largest you may find in Bavaria but perfectly sufficient on a self service basis. The adjacent restaurant offers decent local food. The location is very central opposite the local S-Bahn station to Munich and just yards from the lakeside and its long promenade. Easy access to shops and the departure point for lake boat cruises. Our room faced the road, and earplugs were provided, but not needed.

Good hotel

I have stayed at this hotel several times before. It is conveniently situated in the middle of the village, nearby the railway station and just 5 minutes walk to the lake. The room are simple but comfortable and large. A good breakfast is served and the prices are reasonable.

Convenient hotel with good breakfast

I have stayed at this hotel many times. Very reasonable price, comfortable rooms and beds as well as a breakfast that fulfills all your expectations. They have a restaurant in direct connection with the hotel lobby, which makes it convenient if you want to have a good dinner without moving away to far.
