Quiet weekend

Family visit on the weekend of May 8. Charming hotel very nice. quiet.
Room for 3 (2 adults and 1 teen) very spacious. Ultra comfortable bedding.
Spacious and very clean bathroom
1 shower, 2 washbasins, 1 bathtub
Very nice owner

Small, very nice hotel

A small, family-run hotel. The rooms are furnished with attention to detail. Very nice and helpful people.
The location is perfect for hiking.
Opposite there is a nice café and on the other side of the lake a nice restaurant.
We would definitely come back!

Family weekend with short journey

Having travelled from nearby Cologne for a family weekend, we were given a very friendly and lovely welcome; and our whole stay was just like that!
Our room was SMALL, but had EVERYTHING you and your wife need for a short holiday!
The bathroom was freshly renovated, everything was very clean!
An outstanding breakfast buffet with fresh and regional ingredients, if you don't get full here, it's really your own fault.....
We felt very comfortable, give it 5 stars and will recommend the house

Family-friendly small hotel with a view

More by chance we have booked this hotel in Obermaubach. We were looking for a starting point to explore the Eifel and adjacent areas. Besides seemed and the location on the lake and opportunities for hiking ideal. Besides the location, the balconies visible in the pictures has convinced us. We booked one with breakfast. The welcome and check in were warm family and completely uncomplicated. We felt very at home from the beginning. Breakfast is absolutely sufficient - sausage, cheese, fruit, cereal, eggs, juice, other spreads and almost all coffee variations. I am sure that you could also contact the family with special wishes. Outside breakfast times, some of these things are available plus soft drinks and beers (including wine and spirits). Everything against writing down with room number - this kind of trust is already extraordinary in 2024 (unfortunately). Also worth mentioning is the walk-in shower with optional rain shower or shower. The room is adequate even for a week. The evenings on the balcony overlooking the lake and forest just great. Unfortunately, the place has lost a lot of gastronomy or the times are restricted. But there are shopping possibilities after a few minutes. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful peace and space.

Carefully maintained hotel.
Well renovated in 2024, good beds and a lot of attention to the tasty breakfast.
Operator Marc Nuyken has thoroughly revitalized his hotel.
Recommended if you want peace and beautiful surroundings, in all seasons.
