Top location, top room and top breakfast

Neat and spacious room, a beautiful garden where you can sit in the sun. The people who run the hotel are very nice and the breakfast is top notch. Everything is thought of, bag to take sandwiches, allergies etc.

Homely hotel with great service

This is highly recommended! A very nice hostess. The hotel is neat and clean. There are several seating areas and a sauna that you can use. Breakfast is in the cafe next door and this too is excellent.
It really feels like coming home, a very homely atmosphere.

Heartfelt recommendation

A wonderful accommodation run with so much love and warmth!
We liked the breakfast concept that nothing should be thrown away unnecessarily, so every day we made ourselves a large bag of bread rolls from the generous bread basket for hiking. There is a common room with cool drinks and snacks at fair prices - perfect for equipping yourself for a hike at short notice or retreating to the garden / terrace in the evening. From there - with a wonderful view of the castle - you can end your day wonderfully.
Tip if you want to enjoy the cake and the wonderful tarts: just have them packed up and put them in the fridge in your own room. You also get cutlery so you can treat yourself to a piece of these delicacies in the evening after a hike. ABSOLUTELY recommended!!!
We were very impressed and can recommend this accommodation without reservation and thank the Maass family and all the staff for the wonderful days.

Charming hotel

A charming, well-kept hotel. The rooms are neat and nicely furnished. The sauna is great, especially after a long day of hiking. The breakfast was plentiful. The interior design of the hotel and the café was very nice.
