Beautiful discovery
Lodges with views of the coast, beautiful swimming pool, very pleasant welcome, possibility to have breakfasts.

Jungle and Ocean Charmer
Nestled between the spectacular waterfront and lush green jungle, this is a spartan boutique lodge with characterful bungalows. A sanctuary and paradise secluded from the chaos and circus of Cayenne!
LOCATION: Fantastic location right next to the waterfront and easy access to the city of Cayenne as well as the airport
DINE + DRINK: No dedicated F & B outlet on the property, so you need to pre-arrange your food options! The Breakfast is served in the common area
ROOM: We stayed in Room WACAPU lodge, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Mindblowing view of the waterfront from the sweet Balcony of the bungalow; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: OK cosmetics, bring your own
FACILITIES: No gym on site. But the mini pool is a spectacular aqua setting to take a plunge and enjoy the view of the waterfront
SERVICE: No Staff on site, so nothing to comment about here. There were folks who were at the common club house who helped us with some requests, but I don't even know if they were owners or managers or just employees!
HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Small Plasma TV screen dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages - but ONLY IN FRENCH!!!

Still the best!
3rd visit and still the best for a real break . Fabulous setting for nature lovers who also want/need modern conveniences at a reasonable quality price ratio. . About 5 miles from downtown Cayenne, located at the mouth of the Mahury river and the Atlantic ocean on route des Plages in Montjoly-Remire , the lodge with upscale bungalows which are scattered over a well-mowed slope planted with a variety of local trees and flowery bushes. There is a swimming pool and next to it a covered area with sofa, armchairs and chaises longues to relax or work . The main building includes the office and a lounge/ breakfast area . The larger bungalows have a kitchenette with individual cooking facilities , and across the street overlooking the river for all the guests use is a “carbet “ ( a covered picnic area with a barbecue outside) overlooking the beach below, the river and the ocean . Friendly manager/owners willing to chat and inform. Plenty to do and visit nearby: beaches, about 1/4 mile up the road the Rorota trail leading up Mt Mahury , an entrance across the street from Fort Diamant . In the opposite direction across the street from the main port, a cacao plantation(which also grows coffee ,tea, vanilla, medicinal plants and plants with essential oils.

clean, safe, friendly, beautiful view over river and sea.
Situated in the countryside, you need a car. language spoken is french. The hotel / lodge is superb! -High standards! To visit beaches and shops you need to drive. For exploring French Guyane by car this location is very good. And it is 15 minutes from the airport.
It is a must to visit Kaw, next time we will spend at least one night with Jal voyages in Amazonia. French Guyana is amimals, birds, reptiles, vegetation, nature, - we were surprised!! People are friendly and turism is not a big issue.

Idéal pour une escapade
Bel endroit avec des petits lodges en bois situés en face de la plage dans un joli écrin de verdure.
Tout y est très propre et bien aménagé, idéal pour une petite escapade. Belle piscine à débordement.
On est proche de Cayenne et de la très belle plage des Salines où l’on peut voir les tortues pondre.
