Stunning décor, wonderful hosts, and an unforgettable breakfast

This one night stay was an absolute highlight of our trip. The décor throughout was some of the most beautiful we've seen — thoughtfully designed and full of character. The owners were incredibly attentive and welcoming. Our room was spacious with gorgeous style, and the breakfast was fantastic. The location right next to the old town made it even better. Highly recommend for a memorable stay.

A delight

A perfect location to stay in Vence and wonderful hosts. We had a huge suite in this gorgeous home away from home. Over (delicious) breakfast we were given an itinerary taking us to quieter stop offs and a beautiful route into Nice.
Very highly recommended.

I can't say enough about this beautiful property! Our suite was wonderful in all respects, and the hospitality and kindness of our hosts was unparalleled. Maison du Frene is located in a lovely spot in Vence, and wonderful restaurants and shops are just steps away. We felt welcomed and truly 'at home' from the moment we arrived until our departure. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Vence!

Lovely Maison in the heart of Vence

Antoine, Thiery, and Guy hosted us for 3 nights in this lovely B & B in the center of Vence close to excellent restaurants, shopping, and historic buildings! Their flair for eclectic interior design has created a uniquely decorated destination where every room we entered was an enjoyable space. Our guest room was spacious and comfortable and cleaned and attended to daily. Breakfasts were very good too!
When we arrived, Antoine greeted us and opened up the square in front of the B & B so we could easily pull in to to unload luggage and then he carried everything upstairs to our beautiful room while we parked in the nearby Marie Antoinette parking lot and enjoyed the short walk back to Maison du Frene. We loved that just outside the front door was a plaza with a view of the surrounding hillsides! A most enjoyable stay!!

Like Stepping Back In Time To Stay at A Friend's Inn

Our one-week stay at Maison du Frêne in Vence was nothing short of exceptional. Perfectly located in the heart of the historic village, the inn offers an authentic Provençal experience that feels worlds away from modern tourism. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us like family, creating a warmth and sense of belonging that made our stay truly memorable. The inn itself is filled with charm and character, as though you have stepped back in time to visit a dear friend at their country home. Every detail reflects the history, beauty, and hospitality of the region. We left with wonderful memories and cannot imagine a better place to experience the magic of Vence.
