A favorite
We appreciated the location of the Moderna hotel, situated on a quiet street close to the port and the lively Halles district. The new team in charge is very welcoming and attentive to the well-being of the guests. Breakfast is a moment of pure happiness: varied buffet, quality food, homemade yogurts and jams...

Think carefully before you do.
Hateful experience from our arrival!!!
A long Waiting time for us to be taken care of after a four-hour drive. This is bearable when the Welcoming is warm.
We end up allotted an outdated and very small room on the second floor without elevator with a tiny bathroom in which there is no soap or water to wash hands.
In addition there is no possibility to dry towels and swimsuits (let alone wetsuits).
And, surprise... when we returned at the end of the day, after a first night spent there, the guest rooms had not been made (several guests).
Another bogus "it's an oversight" excuse
We had booked for 4 nights, we only stayed there two because we could not cancel.
Check with the hotel directly for reservations as it can't do anything when booking with TripAdvisor in its opinion!
It's up to you to try the experiment.

I wish I could have stayed longer. Super cute room. Nice & friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend the Hotel Moderna

A good experience
Located in the city center, in a quiet one way street, this family hotel is very friendly and clean.
The staff is very friendly and attentive. The hearty breakfast consists of homemade products or from good local bakeries.
The room we had was not very large, with a small bathroom.
