City Heritage Hotel
I stayed eight days at the Gran Hotel in Pereira. Hotel with history.
Hallways with beautiful period furniture. Very clean everything. Very friendly staff. At the reception they are very nice. Check in and check out are quick.
Central hotel two blocks from Bolivar Square and Victoria Mall.
I touch room 412 (fourth floor). Clean room, with fan, bathroom a little small (but clean). The toilet I was in those days was very good.
As a suggestion change the system where toilet paper goes.
In the days I was there was a problem with the cable TV. Which there was no sign all those days (in my case, I'm not affected) but I think other people were.
Breakfast should be more varied or buffet style. The hotel has a restaurant for everyone. The problem that has no cooking system at night.
It should be stressed that inside the hotel there is a cafeteria for all audiences called "La Fondita". The attention of Jeferson and his wife. They have a nice time tasting a tasty coffee.
Thank the reception staff for being very nice and attentive to any queries

Not what I expected…
I stayed here for three nights and even rebooked to this more expensive hotel because I thought it could have some Charme.
It is an oldish hotel near the Plaza Bolivar. Everything is just in walking distance which is very convenient! But I would say that’s about it.
My room was in the 2nd floor facing the back. I did not expect looking into the neighbors courtyard which means you need to have the curtains closed at ALL time! And this comes with a roof on top and heavy noise when it rains! The neighbor started to work on a Sunday at 7am! And we don’t need to talk about what kind of windows are build in. But this was not the only noise. The door closing the room is not soundproof or isolated. You here everything, crying infants in other rooms, people returning from parties and so on. Free WiFi was good to name something positive! At the bed there are no power outlets. Means you can’t keep your devices close while charging!
Free breakfast was …. naja. It comes with a small selection and no self service! A lady is putting on a plate what you want. Juice is water with some powder. I was done with breakfast each day in 10 minutes.
And you need some Spanish knowledge! Personally, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Excellent service but very bad hotel
The very old room, you hear all the noise of the street, I had booked one with air conditioning and I was given with fan, the super old bathroom, the narrow bed and with a plastic lining q was super uncomfortable. Excellent staff super friendly and attentive to what you need.

Good toilet, quiet in the sector and good location.
Very good breakfast with variety of dishes and good hours.
