Another amazing stay. My room overlooked the pool and lake. Super relaxing and right in the middle of coffee street and bar street. I’ll be back again.

That hotel was awesome! Comfy rooms, great stuff, and the staff were super nice and helpful, especially Anya at the front desk. Everyone was so courteous and willing to help. It was so relaxing, I'd totally recommend it.

Five Star Hotel at a Very Good Price!
I decided to get my hair cut professionally for the first time since I had moved to China. So I wanted a hotel close to the salon. I’ve heard of the Marco Polo before, but had never stayed there.
I had a nice big room with a huge bed that could sleep three. I was the only one in there. I was very, very comfy. Even though I wasn’t pleased with my hair cut, it was very pleasant to return to my room after a few days of sightseeing and hanging out with an old friend.
I want to say I paid around $56 USD per night. I wanted to stay an extra day and the staff accommodated me without me switching to another room.
Marco Polo has 24-hour room service and also has Jacky Angela Steakhouse on site. It is also within walking distance to Coyote’s, a Mexican restaurant, and also near a lot of coffee shops and cafes.
It’s on the west side of the island, near the expat side of town. There are malls, restaurants, Zhongshan Road and Bailhaizhou Park just a short Didi ride away.
I had a small safe in my room as well as a mini bar.
There is an honest to goodness bathtub so if you are so inclined, have a nice, long, hot bath.
Don’t let the price fool you—this is a five star hotel. I was very comfy here. There’s an outdoor pool, but it being January, I didn’t try it out.
If you are looking for a nice place to stay on the west side of Xiamen Island, check this out.

Great hotel!
My family went to Xiamen for our holy week holiday vacation and stayed in the Marco Polo hotel. We were truly delighted when our room was upgraded to the Club floor by Ms. Anya. She saw my mother in law, who is in a wheelchair and offered the wheelchair accessible room. It was very spacious. We were so happy as it made it more easier for us to move around. The bathroom was designed for wheelchaired guest as well.
My daughter was also very happy with the pool as well as the play area for kids.
We also tried the delicious steakhouse on the lobby of the hotel. They do serve Peter Luger dry aged wagyu and it was fantastic. The room service is also good.
We did availed the private roundtrip airport transfer and was amazed that the concierge reached out to us reconfirming the time for our transfer.
It seems that their staff are always ready to help their guest anytime of the day.
Our trip was perfect! Thank you to all the staff of Marco Polo Xiamen. They are all amazing.

This hotel absolutely lives up to its 5-star rating. The location is stunning, surrounded by a beautiful environment with serene views of the lake. There are plenty of on-site restaurants offering a variety of delicious options, and I especially enjoyed the elegant afternoon tea. The pool area is also a great spot to relax and unwind. Overall, a perfect place for both comfort and luxury. Price is affordable, Highly recommended!
