The Castle Hotel is like The Ritz Carlton. The Castle focuses on guest satisfaction. As soon as you arrive, you are greeted in a warm manner. They all welcomed me in English which was welcoming! The Cobase Spa was amazing! I had a body scrub that was amazing. It was my birthday and the hotel sent a cake to my room. It was an amazing stay!

We booked this hotel because of its unique castle design. We enjoyed our stay. Rooms are big and clean. Staffs are friendly. We can see the cross sea bridge from our room. Breakfast is good. There’s also a nice garden on the 5th floor

Terrible coffee and tea at breakfast in the restaurant, decent coffee is only available at the bar starting from 10:00 for 85 yuan. The chefs at breakfast don’t turn on the ventilation, so after visiting the restaurant, all your clothes unbearably smell of fried oil and eggs. A food tray ordered to the room was left in the corridor for 24 hours. The room temperature was 29 degrees, and we couldn’t turn on the cooling, so it felt like a sauna, and we had to open the window.

I had a bad experience here with a naked shirtless guy talking on the phone near the elevator on the 15th floor. In addition he stole my food from the robot… I never had this happen before in all my time. Staff wasn’t able to do much for me, except tell me that he was drunk. Literally took my food from my robot in front of my door. Ridiculous.

The Castle hotel is, in my opinion, the best place to stay in Dalian. The sea-view rooms are absolutely the best. Service is exemplary, the pool & spa are lovely & the restaurants are top notch. During the Holiday season, there is a big & beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby along with delightful holiday decor. Ample parking on site for those who drive.
