Rumah, paradise in Maraú

The guesthouse is beautiful, welcoming and full of charm. The restaurant surprises: the filé-mignon to the gorgonzola and the fish fillé with truffled puré came impeccable, very tasty and well presented. Finally, the coconut pudding brûlée — creamy and aromatic — closed the experiment with a golden key.
The care of Rafael, Dano, Cila and Kiki was excellent, attentive and really made a difference. A place that makes you want to go back.

Good but not worth the score 9.1

The guesthouse is quite simple, there is no TV in the rooms and the air does not cool properly. The room is tiny, if you leave your bags on the floor (no cabinets) you can't get around, I picked up the family room and had to put the bags on top of a single bed.
The towels are only changed every 3 days ( I found it absurd ) but luckily they changed mine with two days .
What I found cool after all also has its positive points was breakfast, you can choose to take at the bedroom, restaurant or beach. You choose your options for a menu which avoids waste, the options are few but sufficient.
The staff is very helpful, good people know ?? And the restaurant is excellent.
Now a tip, this guest house is not close to the pools which was a disappointment, I went with a child and the good pools were 30/40 min walk and unfortunately we could not enjoy. If you want to stay close to the pools I suggest you look for closer options.

Beautiful inn. I recommend changing the reservation system.

The inn is beautiful and located in a wonderful place. The outside is spectacular, with very comfortable and beautiful loungers, tables outside, beds, garden and sand. That's excellent and it's spectacular! The rooms are small and simple but very clean and are very good. The staff is very friendly. It has an open restaurant, very cute and with a little expensive but good quality food. Breakfast is not great, but it is ok and it is beautiful to be taken to a table on the beach (hint: a little variation!). Luckily we had all sunny days, but it is not a comfortable inn for rainy days because there is no common place (a "being") to stay to watch TV or read. The reservation system (not for Booking but with the WP of the inn) seems bad. It does not favour those who decided to do long stays (we went six nights) as they offer you a 10% discount if you pay everything together (on sight) but they do not discount you if you stay several days, as other inns usually do. On the other hand (and that's what I found worse, in our case) we booked the only room worth paying more for (there are three rooms "vista à praia" that are more expensive), which is the first floor of the house that is facing the sea and when we arrived we were told that we were given another one that is back and not on the first floor. In short, I recommend booking room 9 and you are done, which is cheaper and very good.

Lack of light and water (only in the guesthouse) and ants remain. Ugly electrical installations!

The hotel proposes to be a place to relax, but does not deliver it! In 7 days of accommodation, I had 2 shortages of light and a lack of water. It is important to emphasize that there was no shortage of electricity or water in the city at any time, were faults of the establishment whose electrical part and maintenance are not in the day and are not in line with the price and proposal of the guesthouse. For light we saw clearly that the electrical project (I am an engineer) was badly done and does not carry the gambiarras that the system already has. For water, the establishment does not provide filtered water to the guests, is not even able to cover a water shortage emergency! I remember that water and light are basic things and that are missing. We also had in the first 3 days problems with pest control in the room, where at night the insects (forms) took care. We had to change rooms on the third day, no solution. The new room did not present this problem. Abstract: It is a very simple guesthouse and deficient in its facilities... To take photos for Instagram, the guesthouse is there.

Beautiful view, tasty food and excellent service

The spectacular view and excellent service are the strengths of the guesthouse. The employees are friendly, kind and attentive. The food served in the restaurant of the guesthouse is wonderful, very well prepared. The room, bed and bathroom I found very small. The sea in front is agitated, but short walks reach the natural pools. As it is a region with many insects, a dossel (common in the guesthouses of the region) was very missing. Breakfast is ok.
