One of the nicest larger cities in Belgium. Great atmosphere, gorgeous old center, a lot of original restaurants with great food, enough shops to spend a day
This city is very quaint! There are plenty of chocolate shops and waffle shops to get your Belgian fix!
Beautiful medieval town worth to be explored! Nicer and less packed than Bruges which somehow gets all the touristic attention.
After Bruge, this is another favourite city of mine in Belgium. Similar architecture with Bruge, Gothic and with a charming city centre. We rode a horse carriage, kinda pricey to go around the city and its a great way to get an overview of this medieval place.
