More than value for money.

€55 for a single room with breakfast. That's low budget. For that you get a very neat room, an extensive classic breakfast buffet and a warm welcome.
Ate in the bistro and here too: very friendly staff and very good cuisine.
Price/quality top!
I'd love to come back.

Value for money

Nice spacious fresh room with good mattress. Spacious bathroom with good rain shower. Good breakfast with very tasty bread, plenty of choice. Friendly hostess and gentleman. Also very spacious parking. Quiet hotel. Worth a 3 star

Great value for little money!

I have spent the night in a small single room with very small bathroom and even smaller price tag. The room was clean and had a comfy single bed.
I had dinner with 2 friends and the food was excellent. Very friendly staff.

Best value- great hosts!

I will stay here again if I am ever in the area or even close by. The restaurant was exceptional and deserves a 5 rating on its own. A family run business and it shows - they care! I was in a small one person room but it was for a reasonable price.

Budget Hotel

This is a low budget hotel and I would only recommend staying if cost is your first priority. The public rooms and the restaurant are ok and the restaurant was busy with locals so food is probably OK.
There are two types of room and I had the cheapest and smallest. The room was tiny with a single bed wedged in corner so tall people beware. I kept hitting my head on the wardrobe. Mosquitos were also a problem when I stayed and I was badly bitten. The shower room was tiny such that the towel rail was inside the cubicle. Then tiles were stained and the room was due an over haul.
My colleague was in a larger room which was much better and had quite a nice walk in shower so I would recommend you pay extra for the bigger rooms.
I travel to Diest on business and stayed here because my usual hotel was full. I was due to stay 2 nights but only stayed one because it did not suit me.
