Set in Nauders, 10 km from Lake Resia, Hotel Erika offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as an indoor pool and a sauna.

Pleasant hotel with super flexible Service
First of all: whether 4* or 3* doesn't matter in my view. The real quality is determined by other factors.
Exceptional: Very flexible hosts - I rarely know so. Due to illness I unfortunately had to postpone twice - no problem at the Hotel Erika. That's "WOW."
Huge room with mountain views and calming river water sound from the outside.
Breakfast was great - everything there you need without any frills. Service is very effortful and pleasant.
The main role is the surroundings anyway: - optimal location for hiking, cycling etc.
Wellness area is new and modern - that was our second "WOW". The saunas great! After a strenuous mountain tour, it's really worth a lot.
Swimming pool is also great - but we do not use it ourselves.
All good for a great stay. We made it 4*.

Stayed 3 nights here, half board.
Beds and pillows are of moderate quality.
Food was reasonable but the serving goes at the speed of light.
You barely finish your starter before they come up with the next one.

Comfortable overnight stop
A charming family run hotel. The room was spacious and very clean, with modern fittings. The restaurant serves good traditional Austrian cuisine in hearty portions. Helpful friendly staff.

Disappointing.
Hotel is not worth the 4 stars. Renovated once, maybe 1970s. A lot of flies in the restaurant. Two beds next to each other, the mattresses of which always shifted. Lots of traffic noise. Hard stairs to get to the entrance. No bottle of water in the room, let alone coffee/tea. And you expect at 4 stars the possibility to eat a pastry or something small in the hotel. There's nothing, just whole meals at noon. Grubby carpet in the hallways.

Bed and breakfast is ok
In advance: nice owners family and nice staff.
We were only there for 2 nights. Rooms are neat and clean. The beds a bit firm but fine. The breakfast was adequate, but a bit clear for this price range. Unfortunately, I could not test the wellness area due to an injury. I'll do that for next time. The dinner was not quite so excessive, unfortunately. Since we had only booked with breakfast, we went to the village on the second evening.
The 4 stars I personally also find a bit high-pitched.
