Very pleasant city hotel.

We stayed there twice as a group of 50 people and found the hotel ideal. Old town, pedestrian zone, various restaurants, everything easily accessible on foot and the city park directly opposite. Although we had to get the staff 3 times at night (2 times our fault), everyone was very friendly and on the spot very quickly. The breakfast buffet was above average, only the line in front of the coffee machine was usually long. My room was small but sufficient, the bathroom was tiny but apparently newly renovated. In return, the shower was huge! Very pleasant. I would 100% recommend the hotel for a city trip.

Highly recommended.

I was on a business trip in Krems in May 2026 and was impressed by the Parkhotel Krems. The team is exceptionally friendly and competent. The location is quiet yet central. The beds are a dream, as the rooms / the entire hotel have been freshly renovated. Cleanliness is top-notch. I had too little time for the breakfast buffet, but the selection would have been very good. In the evening, a round through the city center is very easily accessible on foot. Inquire about seminar offerings and corporate rates for regular guests (my tip).

If you like to sleep at 30 degrees and have breakfast is the right place

The rooms are not air conditioned!! It had 29* at night.
Breakfast oriental....
Dining on the terrace is a state crime! For 100th people there is no place to eat outside!
After that, we were forbidden to continue fetching food and having breakfast until the boss arrived.
There was then a discussion on the terrace with the boss.
The argument that everyone wants to eat outside and there is too little space is simply inconclusive because it is not possible to see where the problem is. Then not everyone can sit, just like that!
After reading the recession, he came to us in the breakfast room (to which we then had to go back) to explain to me that I was lying. Correct would be to ask for a change in the valuation. (Had she written when the discussion was on the terrace)

Insufficient service

We spent two days in the hotel and already found out when we moved into the room that the TV or channels did not work. Overall we have 4!! Sometimes complained to the reception and were always put off. In response to my request that one should expect a working TV set at these high room prices, neither redemption nor any other reaction was shown. Conclusion - we just won't book the hotel anymore!

A good choice to visit the city of Krems, the Wachau or the Benedictine Abbey of Göttweig...

The hotel is within walking distance to the Steinertor and the pedestrian zone and the Cartoon Museum. It offers parking for € 8.- - the price we find fine.
The room (107) was a bit too cool, which was due to the circumstance of the travel time at the end of April, beginning of May, i.e. the end of the heating season. Very comfortable beds. The doors of the shower have not closed too well, and in the morning the hose of the shower is torn (which must be called bad luck). We were then immediately offered a room next to it for the shower. Again, the doors of the shower have closed badly.
The breakfast buffet is very rich for a 3-star hotel. Staff very nice and helpful.
