A very worthwhile place to visit
There were many positives about our stay at Wingtons-good concept and atmosphere;lovely outlook and outside dining area;great view from the sauna;well decorated and finally the glamping tent was attractive and strong.However,there are a number of improvements which could be utilised to enhance the guest experience eg provision of clothing racks and breakfast provisions.We discussed these with Nat who seemed receptive to our suggestions.Still a very worthwhile place to visit

A truly unique and special experience!
A truly unique and wonderful experience. The whole atmosphere was magical- private accomodation, Tassie wine by the fire, Weber bbq dinner, star gazing and an amazing sauna overlooking the Tamar river. The bed was super comfortable with luxurious linen. There was everything you need inside the tent- thoughtfully designed. The host was very friendly and helpful. Thank you, Margaret and Sarah.

Peaceful Glamourous and Surrounded by Nature
Fantastic service from Nathaniel, he has created a special spot in nature with an eye for comfort. I loved the new sauna and plunge pool, the stars from the pool were beautiful. The area is within the wine region and Nat provided great recommendations for the best cellar doors nearby. The animals were everywhere too! I even saw a barn owl on the tree outside the tent.

A hidden gem in the Tamar Valley in Tasmania.
Wow. What an amazing place to re connect with life and nature. My husband and myself were lucky enough to be told about this place by a friend of Nat’s. Boy oh boy there was no disappointment. We had a calm night by the river in the Amihan tent with outdoor bath. We had bathrobes, a set fire pit outside all ready to go with the light of a match. A pellet fire inside the tent which also was ready to be lit, warm doonas and the comfiest bed and pillows. Comfy chairs inside with throw rugs for your knees. Easy communication with the hosts, a free bottle of Joseph Chromy sparkling. Picnic set, bath towels, Weber bbq, hot water bottles. We will be back and this is one of the best places I have ever stayed for a romantic getaway. Xxx

Accomodation with a difference
Sleeping in a tent with views of the Tamar river at your front door is exceptional. Glamping in a tent with a bath in the open but private and other amenities in an adjoining tent is novel and fun. With a Weber bbq and all the implements at hand, the only thing missing is your food of choice, or eat out at several local restaurants.
The owners are very friendly and helpful with advise on what to do or where to go. A glass of wine around your own campfire relaxing after a full day is bliss. Totally recommend the Glamping experience.
