10/10 - perfect getaway!

Visited Marramarra Lodge in March 2025. Location is spectacular and the food was just beautiful. We made the most of the water amenities and went paddle boarding and a little fishing, although we could have lounged by the stunning pool all day. Arriving by boat made the getaway feel extra special. Would absolutely return and would stay an extra night! 10/10

Don't be scammed like me, I am awaiting a refund after months of chasing when they cancelled my booking twice.

Marramarra cancelled my booking in January the day before we were due to stay and again in April after taking full payment amounting to thousands of $$. They have promised a refund for over a month and are now ignoring emails and calls.
Outside of losing financially, I can't believe the dishonesty of re-booking our dates and taking the full payment, knowing they never intended to accommodate our stay. This was supposed to be a rare and hard earned celebratory weekend that has ended up as a nightmare. A complete scam and I am still in disbelief that they are allowed to treat people this way.

Management are out of their depth

Owner called us in a very aggressive manner after we left what we considered to be constructive feedback. Obviously this soured our experience and I would not recommend to friends and family. When you're charging $2k+ a night, you expect a certain level of luxury. It missed the mark compared to other comparable places we've stayed. (Nb we got a 50% off reopening promo, but even for $1k a night it didn't hit the mark)
Location is stunning. Accommodation is very nice. Most of the staff were very good, but a few teething problems need to be improved and it just felt like they were trying to cut corners on some things (lack of alcohol free alternatives for baby moons, minibar not restocked, no snacks on the room, trained bar staff on Saturday night only, only 1 wine by the glass). It's all fairly minor but adds up at the price point they are aiming for.
Also important to note that they were no longer all inclusive. Many of the other couples who had previously stayed there were as disappointed as us.

1 star experience at 5 star price

Tried the half price opening special......
Very disappointing experience. Poor communication before we even arrived, which continued once there. Staff who seemed out of their depth at every turn. Food and wine choices are extremely limited ($30 glass of wine, only 1 white to choose from). Facilities not up to scratch for what is touted as an exclusive retreat.

Amazing Location

We had an amazing stay at Marramarra, Lodge the location is spectacular and the views are stunning.
The food was outstanding a good variety and a great wine list. Lots to do on the water, Fishing, paddle boarding and swimming in the pool.
Would return.
