Great Hotel For A Small Town.

Hydro Hotel was a great hotel to stay while we were in Leeton. The room was large; the bed was very comfy. The staff were friendly. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Our continental breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay again

Lovely old hotel, great atmosphere. Good location, opposite the historic Leeton Museum and Art Gallery

Highly Recommended

Booked 2 nights acc for 2 people over the phone. I asked for a walk in shower. The rate was $165/night. incl complementary continental breakfast.
This is a 2 storey complex with plenty of parking. It is wonderfully atmospheric with spacious foyers, wide corridors & a lovely feeling of a bygone era.
Very friendly efficient check in. Allocated room 11.
We have stayed here a couple of times before. There is no problem for us being accommodated on the first floor as the stairway has an easy gradient.
French doors open from our room out to a large wide wrap around balcony overlooking in our case, the art deco water towers. There is also a security door meaning fresh air, however, there is air con if you need it.
Queen size bed & single bed. Both were very comfortable.
Reliable wifi & a tv with streaming channels. Complementary tea coffee with fresh milk in the bar fridge.
The ensuite was a good size with a walk in shower with a rain shower head.
The room is fully serviced daily. Thank you!
Breakfast is held in the breakfast room in the ground floor. So much choice with multiple varieties of cereal, milks, yogurts, breads & tinned fruits. Everything you could want to get started in the morning.
As if this is not enough, there is an excellent bar & restaurant where we had dinner both nights. The quality of food & choice was excellent & so was the staff. A very fair price too.
For us, the Hydro provides everything we needed, in lovely surrounds & at a very good price.
We highly recommend the Hydro & hope the next time we are in Leeton, they have room for us.

Not what it seems at first sight.

The first appearance of the Hydro suggests a rather grand establishment and the entry to the lobby supports this. It is all downhill after that. The room we were allocated would not have made a mediaeval monk think he was being really spoilt and certainly not a modern day one. It was pokey, bare and had no real view outside. The bathroom however would have delighted the monk even though the very modern fittings (e.g. taps, toilet roll holder) had not been installed in quite the right places. The breakfast arrangements were pathetic for a hotel that claims any standing.

We had a comfortable night sleep and with modern bathroom. Breakfast was included continental with lots of options. We are on the ground floor and we were able to sit out on the veranda,Our function was at the hydro as well in the dining room which was delicious.
