Great place to stay if being close to airport is important. 15min all max. Not a lot of food or hospitality venues close except a subway and petrol station 5mins walk.
Room was clean, beds were comfortable, amenities and bathroom nice n today/clean

Over the top data harvesting nonsense

Yes, it's noisy but it's right by the airport. It's clean ish, and the rooms are ugly concrete boxes but our biggest concern was the YHA itself and how much data it harvested from us: photos taken at reception, everyone in our family had to hand over a photo ID, phone numbers and emails. It was like checking in to Fort Knox! And, it's the YHA, so now we're waiting for the "data breach" emails to come our way. And this checking in nonsense at reception came after I'd downloaded their app " to make checking in easier" and filled in numerous fields online. The whole process was over the top and ridiculous.

We understand that the check-in process felt excessive to you, but we’d like to clarify that collecting photo ID, contact details, and taking a photo on arrival is a standard YHA policy. These procedures are in place for the safety and security of all guests and staff and are clearly outlined during the booking process.
While we appreciate that this may feel thorough, we take data privacy seriously. All personal information is handled in accordance with strict data protection regulations and is never collected without purpose.
We also want to note that while the app streamlines parts of the check-in, in-person verification remains an essential part of our guest safety protocols.

Kitchen was lacking.
Got my booking mixed up, but was very busy weekend.
Due to type of rowdy, boozy room mates was promoted free to single room next nite.✔️

Affordable, good location, good amenities, friendly and helpful staff. Room was a little warm, fan and planes were a bit noisy, but I can sleep through anything. For the good value, you have to compromise on something.

Super easy and convenient to get to the airport. For the area it was in between the highway and airport , very little noise made it into in the room.
