give these guys a chance

This place has new owners, and they are very nice and helpful and are making an effort to turn the place around and believe they need a chance and they will get there with a little bit of time. The room was tidy and clean and the noise from the road got better as it got later

Terrible.

The room was so dirty we had to clean it on the first night, we stayed for three nights and ended up going home with a sickness.

Great hospitality by new management. Large, comfy clean rooms.

My family and I all stayed at the Gladstone Palms Motor Inn after being recommended by one of their previous stays shortly prior. It is under new management who are very hospitable and accommodating. They always made sure that we had everything we needed and welcomed any feedback. The bedrooms are large, comfy and clean and very reasonably priced. The motor inn is located in a central location and had plenty of parking. It is within walking distance to some local eateries, shops and the hospital. Highly recommend staying here for a nice personal regional town feel.

Absolutely putrid. Worst place I have ever stayed in.

The property was absolutely putrid. We had two nights booked - one on the way to our destination and one on the way back. We didn’t stay on the way back. One night was enough. The room stunk. The aircon was putrid. Curtains were broken and hanging from the rod. The beds had no doonas - only thin sheets. The handle to the bathroom door was broken and hanging off. There was a teaspoon in the bathroom which one can only imagine what that had been used for. There was no toilet paper. There were no toiletries provided at all. Banging and crashing all night from neighbours. The guy behind reception was rude and barely said two words to me. Photos on this website are not current. The place is a run down pigsty. Do not stay.
