Belfast International Airport is the main international airport serving Belfast, 15 miles from Belfast city centre, on the outskirts of the village of Aldergrove. The airport has one terminal, you will find the departures lounge located on the second floor. The pick up and drop off zone has a convenient location opposite the entrance of the airport. A drop off charge of £1 is in place for the first 10 minutes, £3 for 10-20 minutes and £5 for up to one hour. Cars in the drop off zone must not be left unattended.

The Park and Fly car park is an off-site car park, and offers the cheapest car parking at the airport. There is a free shuttle bus available between the car park and terminal.

There is no train station at Belfast Airport, the nearest train station is Antrim Railway Station, 6 miles from the airport. You can reach the train station by the 109 bus service or taxi. From here there are direct train services departing hourly, a train to Belfast will take 25 minutes, and a train to Londonderry will take 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Belfast Airport by bus/coach

Buses are the only direct public transport connection from the airport into Belfast. The main bus service is the Airport Express 300 and it departs every 15 minutes during peak periods. A journey into Belfast will take 30-40 minutes. A single fare is £7.50 and tickets can be purchased at the information desk, or when boarding the bus.

For those travelling to Lisburn the Ulsterbus 109 service departs hourly and runs to Lisburn Rail Station, this has a journey time of 50 minutes. If you're travelling to Londonderry/Derry the Airporter coach service departs hourly with a journey time of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
