Finding flights from the Pisa International Airport (PSA)

The Pisa International Airport (PSA), also called the Galileo Galilei Airport, is the one of the most important airports in the Tuscan region of Italy, and serves the city of Pisa. It is a mere 5km from the centre of town, with links to the city via trains, buses and taxis.

There are over 40 cities you can fly to directly from Pisa, to locations all of Europe, and a few options in Africa and the Middle East.

This is a major hub for Ryanair, which operates most of the domestic and international routes, but you can also fly with British Airways, FlexFlight, Qatar Airways, Wizz Air, easyJet, Vueling, and Transavia.

Popular destinations from Pisa International Airport

With so many historic cities in Italy, it would be a crime not to explore them. Fly to Rome (FCO), a place for historians, for romantics, for food lovers, and for art enthusiasts, it is undoubtedly one of the most impressive cities in the world, and worth every hour you spend here. Or fly to Cagliari (CAG) the main town on the remarkable, and glamorous Sardinia, where the rich and famous go to find themselves a secluded stretch of sand beside the turquoise waters that lap the coast of this Mediterranean island.

Short-haul destinations of two to four hours can take you to the medina of Marrakesh (RAK), the markets of sun-kissed Valencia (VLC), or the castles and churches of Budapest (BUD).

You won’t find long-haul destinations from this city, but you can connect to any city in the world through a number of international hubs that Pisa’s airport operates flights to. London’s Heathrow (LHR) and Gatwick (LGW) airports, and the Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in Paris are three of the busiest airports in Europe and offer routes out to the Americas, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, as well as being fantastic cities to tour for a few days.
