Flights from Palestinian Territory
The Palestinian Territory consists of three separate entities called the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip. These three intersect both geographically and culturally speaking, at the heart of Asia, Europe, and Africa. Interestingly, the Palestinian Territory is considered the land for three of the world’s major religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Perhaps this is what magnetises travellers to go to the Holy Land despite brawling political and religious notions. Set aside those beliefs, take off all pre-conceived notions, and see the Palestinian Territory for what it is.
Where to go
In Israel, you should not miss the Agamon HaHula Valley. A cotton field converted to growing peanuts to produce the local favourite junk food Bamba, the valley is also frequented by massive migrating cranes who also feed on the peanuts. The farmers kept feeding them and the sight of migrating birds nestling in the field during winter time is a sight to behold. If you want an up-close and personal look at the cranes, you should give the Agamon HaHula tourist desk a ring and reserve in advance for the use of a corn tractor. The corn tractor in itself is the John Deere tractor, which pulls a 50-seat Safari Wagon. If you want to explore the entirety of the wetlands stretching 8.5km, you can opt to walk or rent a bicycle, a four wheeled pedal cart, seven-seat conference bike, or a golf cart. Wheelchairs are also made available for handicapped individuals.
Another top choice of destination in the territory would be the Coral Beach Nature Reserve in Eilat. It has about 100 types of stony coral and about 650 fish species, a true haven for sea lovers. From the shore, a wooden bridge will lead you to the reef that stretches for about 1km, which will then lead you to a number of underwater trails. If you feel like snorkelling, you can rent equipment at a cost.
From Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, you can reach the nearby Munich in Germany. As the capital city of Bavaria, Munich is famous for its architectural wonders, fine culture, and the annual beer celebration. While in Munich, get a chance to walk through the four royal grand avenues that pretty much runs through the inner city, a good way to explore Munich on an intimate level.
From Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, you can reach the other side of the world and visit Newark in New Jersey. Located on the east coast of the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States of America, it is known to be the most densely populated state in the nation as well as beautiful beaches and other natural attractions.
