Popular destinations from Glasgow Airport

Fly to some of the most celebrated cities in the United Kingdom from Glasgow, and be there within 90 minutes. Fly to the tip of the West Country by heading out to Exeter (EXT) in Cornwall, where you can eat clotted cream and jam scones, and admire the spectacular coastline. Or explore Scotland’s own backyard by flying to Tiree (TRE) in the Hebrides, one of the windswept and historic isles off the western coast of the nation.

Add an hour or three in flight time, and you can enjoy a break in the chic city of Milan (MXP), diving into the evocative landscape surrounding Reykjavik (KEF), or discovering the history of Bulgaria’s Sofia (SOF).

Whilst there are long haul flights, none of them will require you to sit in a plane seat for longer than eight hours. Enjoy the bright lights and big city streets of New York City (JFK and EWR), and indulge in some of the most iconic pastimes of this town; like catching a show on Broadway, climb the steps of the Statue of Liberty, and take a selfie from the top of the Empire State Building. Or look north to Toronto (YYZ), Canada’s most happening city, and a place where you can sit with a poutine whilst watching the Maple Leafs score goal on the ice, or paddle board on the waters of Lake Ontario.
