Popular destinations from Cochin International Airport

Discover some of the best of India from this neat airport, find your way to Chennai (MAA), only an hour’s flight away, and within close proximity of the incredible UNESCO listed Mahabalipuram, and the colonial-cum-hippie down of Puducherry. Alternatively, fly a little longer, for three hours, and you’ll arrive in New Delhi (DEL), the capital of the country, and filled with heritage sites, like Humayun’s Tomb, and the Red Fort.

However, you can hop on flights between an hour and six and explore cities and sites outside of India. A quick trip can mean touring Colombo (CMB) and relaxing on the beaches of Sri Lanka, or enjoying striking desert scenery of Muscat (MCT) in Oman, or getting into the groove of slick city-life by flying to Singapore (SIN).

Intrepid travellers looking to have experiences beyond Asia can find them from a number of comprehensive international hubs that Kochi’s airport connects to. Singapore (SIN) and Bangkok (BKK) will offer you the largest range of options to points that touch down on almost every continent. Or book to New Delhi (DEL) or Mumbai (BOM), which both offer 80 to 100 onward destinations to North America, Europe, Central and North Asia, and Australasia.
