Route 115 is the main road travelling to and from the airport. It heads south into Sioux Falls city and north to join route 90. Dell Rapids is a small town north of Sioux Falls. It has a historic Main Street, preserved in rose quartzite, and a number of impressive buildings including the Grand Opera House, the Carnegie Public Library and the Dell Rapids Museum. Visitors will find a selection of independent boutiques and restaurants in the town and a scenic cycling trail close by.
It takes around 25 minutes to drive from Sioux Falls Airport to Dell Rapids, taking route 115 north from the airport. Dell Rapids is a small town set over an easy-to-navigate grid system with plenty of on-street parking available.
