Driving from the airport, head southeast, continue straight, turn left onto US-12 W/133rd St, then turn right onto Melgaard Rd S. Turn left onto Milwaukee Ave SE, continue onto 1st Ave SE, then turn right onto S Main St. The museum will be on the right. The entire trip will take around 11 minutes, give or take, and will cover 4.6 miles.
Kuhnert Arboretum is a 19-acre arboretum and nature area situated at the corner of Melgaard Road and Dakota Street South, Aberdeen, South Dakota. It houses a variety of deciduous, coniferous, and ornamental trees, as well as large shrubs. In addition, a 9-hole disc golf course, line by two roads, Moccasin Creek, and an open field, can also be found here.
