The Rafsanjan Airport is an airport in Iran, located in Rafsanjan County of the Kerman province, in the south-eastern section of the country. Rafsanjan is the capital of the Rafsanjan County, and is the centre of Iran's pistachio cultivation. It is also a major centre of carpet production, even though it is white labelled as Kermani rugs. The airport is one of the many domestic airports that is currently in service within Iran. It previously connected Rafsanjan to main Tehran, the capital of the country, through flights provided by Iran Aseman Airlines – although today the airport has no commercial activity nor does it have scheduled flights.
