Monte Carlo’s “airport” is officially called Monaco Heliport (sometimes also referred to as Monte Carlo Heliport), and is the only aviation facility in Monaco. Originally opened in 1987, it has 8 helipads and is located on the southeastern coast of Monaco, on the Mediterranean sea.
The heliport has a single terminal building, as well as four hangar facilities. Currently the heliport only offers helicopter flights to and from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport in Nice, France. The helicopter journey takes just 7 minutes.
