Long Apung Airport

Long Apung Airport is a public airport serving the Indonesian city of Long Apung in the Malinau Regency of North Kalimantan province. The airport resides at an elevation of 731.52 metres (2,400 feet). It has a runway designated 00/18, with bitumen surface, and is 2,756 feet (840 metres) long. The airport is served by Susi Air, which operates domestic flights to Temindung Airport (Samarinda Airport) in Bandara, Samarinda, and Juwata International Airport in Tarakan.

Long Apung is a village in the Malinau Regency. The administrative centre of Malinau Regency is Malinau, also referred to as Earth Intimung.

As for the province of North Kalimantan, it is situated in the Indonesian part of the island of Borneo. According to the 2010 census, the population was approximately 525,000, and the latest official estimate was 628,331 for December 2013.
