If you need to freshen up or just relax whilst in transit you’ll find two premier airport lounges, one of which offers access to showers. There is a healthy selection of shops that you can browse, with souvenir stores, gift shops, newsagencies and duty-free outlets available for you to purchase goods in.

Travel Information

·         It isn’t really recommended to drive in Pakistan if you haven’t driven there before, however, most car rental agencies will hire out their cars with the price of a driver included. You can sift through these combo deals online with Skyscanner, or you can approach the local companies when you arrive.

·         There are bus services that can connect you to the city, these will take double the travel time of a taxi (at about an hour of travel time), but the fares are cheap and cheerful at 50PKR (60 cents). If you’d rather not take public transport, but do not want to pay taxi prices, then you can book an airport transfer with a private company through Skyscanner.

·         Taxis can get you into town in 25-40 minutes depending on traffic, with fares starting around 300PKR ($4), and you can pick up a taxi right outside the terminal building.
