Travel Information

·         It is not recommended to drive in Pakistan, as it can be a bit of an overwhelming experience, and a little treacherous. We recommend if you would like to hire a private vehicle that you also hire a driver with it. There are lots of reasonable combo-deals that you can find online with Skyscanner, or at the airport itself with the represented car agencies.

·         Taxis are the main mode of transport into downtown Islamabad, and there are lots of taxi companies linking the airport with the city. Expect fares to start at 500PKR ($6) for a trip into town. If you are needing a bigger vehicle, or simply want your transport ready and waiting for you, you can easily organise an airport transfer in advance to see to your travel needs.
