Dubai International Airport, United Arab Emirates

Dubai International Airport, also known just as Dubai Airport, is located approximately 4km from the centre of the bustling city of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. The airport is the primary one serving Dubai, and is generally considered as the world’s busiest when it comes to passenger traffic.

At the airport, Terminal 1 typically serves international flights run by airlines other than Emirates; Terminal 2 primarily caters to charter flights (plus some routes within the Gulf region); while Terminal 3 is the hub for Emirates flights and many Qantas ones too.

Being such a large and busy airport, the terminal boasts many facilities for travellers to enjoy. On site you’ll find restrooms, banking services, information desks for tourism details, ATMs, baggage storage, medical centres, currency exchange counters, spas, free Wi-Fi and internet booths, prayer rooms, a children’s play area, and disabled facilities. The building also has its own museum, plus a wide range of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
