There is also Sayram Lake, about 90 kilometres west of Bole. It is located in the Tian Shan range, and an especially beautiful spot to visit during June and July, when the alpine flowers are in full bloom.


Tourists going here can fly through Bole Alashankou Airport via Tianjin Airlines. It flies between the area and Urumqi, one of the biggest cities in Xinjiang. More than three million people live here across the fertile plain in the shadow of the Tian Shan mountains.
