This is a forward-thinking company, with their eye on air-travel sustainability in order to ensure the future of the industry whilst minimising the environmental impact, meaning that the company slogan ‘we are travellers’ is well deserved.

Why fly with SAS

Ways To Check-In

Keeping up with the times, SAS allows its passengers the convenience of checking in online or through their mobile device with the new SAS app. Check in up to 22 hours before your scheduled departure time, and breeze past counter queues. If you’re part of a big group, or would like to wait until the airport to check in, you can use the self-service kiosks, or speak to a SAS representative at the staffed counters. Please ensure that you leave enough time to pass through the immigration and security checks at the airport, roughly 60 minutes for domestic journeys, and 120-180 for longer, international flights.

Seating

When booking your flight be sure to keep an eye out for the seat selection section, where you can reserve your preferred seat. If your ticket is SAS Plus or Business, you may change your seat free of charge, but if you hold a SAS Go ticket, you will be charged a nominal fee.

Baggage Allowances & Fees

Your free luggage allowance is determined through your fare class. With SAS Go Light you are able to bring on a cabin bag, but no checked luggage. SAS Go customers can check one bag at 23kg, SAS Plus are able to check two bags at 23kg, and Business class passengers can check two pieces weighing 32kg each. Please note that any bag weighing more than 32kg will be rejected for safety reasons, you will be asked to repack or send it via cargo plane.

All ticket holders may bring a cabin bag that adheres to a weight of 8kg, and dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 23cm.
